The longer the trip the more you take but this is my short trip list

The * indicates my really short list when some meals are provided

PERSONAL ITEMS
toilet Paper - can't depend on there always being some
adult wet wipes - amazing for quick clean ups and spit baths when desperate
make up - all kept in a zip lock bag
toothbrush, toothpaste - separate zip lock bag
medecines
shampoo
razor - I always take one but NEVER use it :)
shower flip flops - yes you'll need these
towels
washcloth
dishpan - Ok this is one of the tried and true life savers. If you take a nice bag carrying your items to the shower and then realize there is no hook to hang it on ... you'll be very sad when you have to set it on the shower floor. A dishpan can hold everything and can sit anywhere. Use the pan for shower trips only.

CAMPING/SHELTER ITEMS
trailer or tent
doormat - the cuter the better
lantern - propane or battery operated (I like battery type)
string lights - again the cuter the better
flashlights and batteries
ice chest - I take 2 smaller ones instead of 1 giant one
broom
table clothes and table cloth clips
chairs
small folding table or any cool looking item to hold your drinks outside
cots if you are tent camping
bed Linens - AND again the cuter the better
pillow

DECORATIONS

Girls here are the things that most of the "decorated" campsites have on the outside:

small table with vintage table cloth
2 chairs
rug - indoor/outdoor is best but I swear I've seen indoor used - I don't use a rug
Doormat - one for outside and one for inside
String lights

And after this......anything goes.
